Need help picking a playbook

I am playing with Texas a&m in an Online Dynasty. i have been using their playbook for the most part. it is a pro style and very pass heavy. it has a few i form and and one strong I. i need a playbook with more running plays and formations while still keeping the variety of shotgun that a&m has. i have tried the multiple playbook but it lacks in the passing game

Penn States is multiple but has a good mix of passing in it. Empty set with quads as on of the shotgun formations. Has a little of everything.

Re: Need help picking a playbook

I like Minnesota (Pro)
-7 Shotgun (1 Wildcat)
-6 Ace
-4 I form
-2 Strong
-1 Weak

Cal (Pro)
-7 Shotgun (1 Wildcat)
-6 Ace
-4 Strong
-2 Weak
-1 I form

Both definitely run first but, I think 6 formations out of the gun is plenty to pass from mixed in with the Ace

Try Wake Forests. Lots of I form and lots of shotgun. Good run first offense.

Re: Need help picking a playbook

TCU is listed as spread but they actually have several Ace, I form, and strong/Weak I formations. They also have several option plays both from under center and from the gun, including load options and options with receivers as your pitch man. Of course since they're listed as spread they have plenty of good ol' short passes and screens.

Re: Need help picking a playbook

Tulane is an excellent playbook. It's got the Split Formation, plenty of I-Form, Strong I, Weak I. Some great Wildcat plays. Lots of good ace formations.

There are some end-arounds out of I-Forms, and maybe out of the Ace.

Your usually selection of Power I, Slam, Toss, ISO, etc. etc. etc. out of all the formations.

The Tulane Wildcat has a really wicked QB Screen pass (player who takes snap hands off to motion guy who then passes it to the player who took the snap who is behind O-linemen for a screen).

Some great pass-plays too. Seattle in the Ace Bunch is always great. Stick-n-Go out of a few different formations is a great one.

And if you got a great FB, there are plenty of ways to get him involved. I especially like using the Split formation with a great FB.

You could also look into LSU's playbook.

Lots of I-Form plays, 2 sets of Pistol, a lot of single back formations, and I think 6 shotgun sets.
