Quitting in ranked games

Just ridiculous

I can't get out of the first quarter- my record is 1-0 and I've played 8 games

Why do people quit so much? I haven't played online this year yet but I just don't get quitting. Is it because they just don't wanna lose?

They might not actually lose to their opponent, but they're getting a loss either way. Plus, quitting will increase your Did Not Finish percentage.

So really, I don't see why people do quit. Unless they don't want to waste an extra 10-15 minutes to "concede defeat" at halftime.

Re: Quitting in ranked games

I actually was playing a Florida-LSU game, and I was LSU, and I was having a great time. I was down 14-0 late in the 3rd, and he was actually about to score when I think he quit. Or maybe it was just a real lost connection. I actually quit a lot in the 1st quarter, if somebody is a big cheeser, but if I'm losing fairly like I was this time then I love playing it.

Re: Quitting in ranked games

If they would just allow Concede Defeat from the start of the game (with a cap on how many times you can use it against the same person) it would solve all our problems. Quitters would choose that over Quit because it doesnt affect their dnf. Would give the winners their wins, and save 20+ minutes.
