Single back. Hand it off. Slam, Power, Dive. Profit.

Re: Help me run the ball!

I run a Pro style offense and run a lot of counters and occasional I-Form Dive for short gains. I also use a lot of HB Gut. A play that always is money for me is Goal Line- Triple Power. I play on heisman too and get around 150 yds a game.

Re: Help me run the ball!

It seems to me like as soon as I get the ball handed off a D-Lineman has blown past my line and is there to get me for a loss or no gain

Re: Help me run the ball!

All running plays work... ease off the sprint button... follow your blockers... once you get into some space... takeoff

Listen to what this man has to say. Never push the sprint button till you get out in the open or are trying to beat a man to the corner, everything works better when you stay off the sprint button, you run over more people, you juke better and you can go in any direction faster. I would suggest playing some RTG as a HB. That will get you a lot of practice

Re: Help me run the ball!

If the linemen are getting off the block that quickly then you need to change up your snap count.

Also, like others have said, you need to slow down a bit and let the blocks develop, even if you see an all out blitz coming. It's difficult, but you've got to see through the chaos. Bring up your playart and take note of the blocking patterns. Read where the hole may be and where the cutback may be.

Loosen up your eyes. If you're running a dive, read how the DT moves to find your initial hole. If you're running behind a fullback, try to read the movement of the playside linebacker and try to stay on the FB's butt, then cut off of his block.

Re: Help me run the ball!

Check for cut back lanes if your initial route has been blocked. That's how I'm racking up a lot of yards. Also, when you're in a pile, keep pressing up and trying to move forward while covering the ball.
