I don't remember that sliders had any effect on simmed games in the past. Has that changed? If so, outstanding, but I fear that Survivor is correct on this one.

Yep. In 2009, LaMichael James had over 20 rushes for more than 20 yards. Guys with only 4 or 5 is way off.

Yep. 2004 had great sim stats. Back then, some teams would even have 75-80 combined rush and pass attempts which was pretty accurate with the clock rules back then.

I don't believe this is the case for the sim engine. In-game engine? Sure, but not in simulation. The coaching sliders have an effect on run/pass ratio and aggression. If that has an impact on YPC and then that would be great. I thought it would just alter totals, some sack and INT #s.

They do affect sim stats as far as run pass ratio, however I dont think they can help things like ypc.

This is a shame, too, for me at least. Don't always have time to play whole games because of other responsibilities, so sometimes I would just coach a few games. But that hasn't been fun in years, because the results just aren't very realistic.

I think one of the patches affected sim stats big time last year.

The QB Comp % was way too low (I covered that in a thread about only AWR affected QB Sim stats), and the YPC were way too low. These are the same issues this year.
