HD pack comes with component cables, but I would use the ones you have (monster cable) instead of the cables that come with it.

I just switched them out with monster cables I use for my DVD player. It does look better.

I bought the monster cables expecially for the XBOX.. They seem to work great!

I also have this all hooked up to my Bose Lifestyle System.

Crowd never sounded so nice!

ok I have the 60 inch grand wega with monster component cables hooked up to my xbox, do I still need the hd pack to get ncaa2004 in high def or am I getting hi def with just component cables hooked up to my tv. Ncaa looks real good now but will it look even better with the hd pack and the monster cables?

Ok, but what output source is your component cables running from into your tv?? Probably a DVD player? Welllll, that's not helping your XBOX. You need component cables running from your XBOX into your TV.

The only way to do this is to buy an HD pack.

Also, it's 1080i, 720p, 480p, 480i

to my knowledge there is no 1080p....1080i and 720p are true high def.

I have the component cables connected directly from my xbox to the back of my tv.

If you have those monster cables that are made for the xbox, that is all you need.
