Trying to rebuild Eastern Michigan. I'm 2-4 in my first year, but I just lost my QB and my back-up is beyond awful. My goals are to have a winning season and make a bowl game. The second half of my schedule is easier, but I still consider both goals longshots this year. How close do I have to come to avoid getting fired? I screwed around first to get used to everything, went 0-12, and got fired. Anybody have any idea?

I've never got fired before and met only 1 of 3 objectives. but my suggestion would be if your worried about your qb's spotty play try to convert to a more run heavy ball and not let your backup make any costly errors.

Yeah I'm a very heavy running team already, but my offensive line isn't very good either. I'm hoping I get another season if I manage 4-8 or 5-7.

I didn't meet any first year objectives in year 1 and my coaching meter never changed. I think you would have to completely bomb year 1 to get fired...I'm talking 0-12.

You may be in danger of being kicked out of your conference though.
