Auto-Strafe?

Does anyone use this? I play Player-Lock on defense, either as the MLB or FS. I really like the perspective as opposed to playing D with the traditional camera. Anyway, my one weakness is dropping back into coverage; I feel like I'm 1-2 steps slow when holding down L2 (PS3) to strafe with my defender.

I was curious if Auto-Strafe was at all effective, especially when it comes to pass coverage?

I have it off, I don't know why anyone would keep it on. So much easier to rocket catch with it off.

I love it.

It requires delicate thumbs at first, but once I got it..its all good.

I'll never go back to using the triggers again.

Thanks for chiming in, Sporty. I know you've used Player-Lock on D and I respect your gaming opinion.

It's not that I mind using the triggers but I think my reflexes aren't as quick as they once were and so if I'm strafing to cover a zone and then need to break off of it and move somewhere else, it takes me too long to let go of the trigger and re-position my guy.
