I took a job at ECU after being terminated. I got Buffalo Week 1, can't wait.

Well I might be in the same boat as OP after starting up a Tennessee dynasty.

They want:
Finish in the Top 10 (Seriously? They went 7-6 last year!)
Win the SEC (WHAT?!?!?!)
Play in a major bowl game (This is just absurd)

I firmly believe that none of those are even close to attainable.

Oh well I have 3 years...right?

You should come back here and tell everyone about the game against Buffalo as ECU went.
Also if it is not any trouble just a suggestion if you have a chance to run up the score when you are playing Buffalo you should go for it.
As long as you have a big lead on them .
If you don 't then don 't go for it.

Actually if i remember right from previous NCAA games each year you would get a different set of goals.
So in a essence they want you to fulfill those three goals your first year on the job.

Actually i am going to rank them on attainable with 1 , 2 and 3
I believe the last one is more attainable than win the sec or finish in the Top 10.
Also the last one and the second one is more attainable than finish in the top 10.
Of course in real life i would assume that Tennessee would be more happy to play in a Bowl game than win the sec or finish in the top 10 because they would want the spotlight and/or pressure to be not on their team.
Until their team was loaded then they probably would want to win the Sec or finish in the top 10.
