Going up on recruits' boards without even calling them

Has anyone seen this happen often?

I put a 3-star RB named Victor Faulk on my recruiting board that did not have an interest in my school. I have yet to call him through 3 weeks but following a 2-1 start and a recent win over #6 Ole Miss, suddenly I am 7th.

I have also noticed my school going up on several other prospects' boards without me calling them.

Do you get hidden points simply for winning?

I think it's always been like that with the current gen recruiting method. the recruits on your board get a small bump in interest. don't think it has anything to do with winning though. just their placement on your recruiting board.

I don't think it's winning, I think you just get points if you have them on your board every week. At least that's what i'm thinking.

And you get more points based on how high the kid is on your recruiting board. The recruits know how interested you are in them. If you want that 5* guy you better have him at the top and not at the bottom of your list or you won't have a chance.

I think it depends on whether you have computer assistance on. The computer advisor will also change your board at times, and will offer scholarships to some guys who you didn't get a chance to talk to that week.

I exhaust all of my recruiting points each week manually (no quick calls). Recruiting assistance is also off.
