Anyone got any conference invites yet?

The promise still stands...I have about 5 or 6 guys that I have been promised to win the Conference USA and now the promised has carried over to the SEC. It is what it is.

Don't know if this has been brought up previously, but if you have a 1 team online dynasty going, are conference invites a "no-go?" Just curious, cause I'm 3 seasons in to my ND dynasty and have received nothing in the way of a conference invite.

Conference invites are totally random. Not only do you have to perform well, but at least one team in a conference has to underperform. Even if all criteria are met, it's still random. If an invite is that big a deal for you, save/advance/reload until you are invited (assuming the criteria are met).

Thanks for the info Deegeezy. I thought it would stand, but that's a tough break. I just found out that if you promise a kid you won't recruit another player at his position for one year and then redshirt him, the clock doesn't start until his second year. So either I have to break my promise and recruit a QB or hope one of the athletes I'm recruiting can play QB.

Oddly, the same doesn't hold for "national exposure." I promised a kid good exposure, redshirted him and at the end of the season it said I kept my promise...

Thanks for the info vilsack....I knew it was totally random. I was just curious if it was still possible to get one since it was an Online dynasty (1 team) as opposed to offline.

Nope, Online Dynasties no matter the amount of people, you can't get invites.

Just received an invite into the PAC-10 with Nevada after my fifth season with 4 straight WAC Championships. I had been invited the year before but had to reload the dynasty before bowl week. Then after the reload, Washington State was no longer downgraded to a 1 star team and I could not get an invite. This incensed me and I forced W. St. to lose out the next year. I couldn't take another year in the WAC.

I'm guessing the only BCS conference the California teams can get in is the Pac-10 right?
