In my experience there is little risk vs huge reward when pitching VERY late, as in when you are getting hit.

To me it is an exploit and I will not do it. I will not pitch the ball when I'm being hit.

This has always been the issue in EA NCAA football. You could do a search and I'm sure you would get many threads in the past about how pitches were too perfect.

It has always been one of my big issues with NCAA. I never feel like the defense is adapting or defending to the best of their abilities.

That's not even an opinion, it's a fact.

Go watch real option teams and see if they pitch the ball when they're wrapped up like that. You would ONLY do that out of desperation because it's almost a guaranteed fumble.

Also, as soon as the quarterback starts to get tackled, the defense stops covering the running back because the AI thinks the play is over. That's why you can pitch it 20 yards to the sideline and run for a touchdown so often.

You can run option in this game? I tried using GT and I was never successful in any option plays.
