Washington or Nebraska?

Which team should I start my dynasty with?

I am a fan of both teams... They are both my favorite teams. Nebraska would probably be less of a challenge due to their prestige rating. Recruiting would be easier with Nebraska.

Not sure at this point and just look for someone to push me in either direction so I can get my dynasty rolling!

I can't bring myself to do it.

I think Nebraska should win, but Husky Stadium is going to be rocking and the Dawgs are hungry for a big win.

Overall, Nebraska is the better team but I really do think it's going to be close. If Locker beasts out, it's going to be a tough day for the Huskers.

Lame answer I know. If I *had* to put $ down though, I'd pick the upset - Washington.

For a dynasty, my choice would be Washington. You get one season with Locker, then backing him up you have Nick Montana. Not to mention they are currently improving and you could turn them into the Washington of old.

As for the game, it is going to be quite the battle. A chance for Washington to prove itself on a national stage. I think Nebraska will pull it out in the end, but don't count out Locker and the Huskies...

Depends on how much of a challenge you want. After the first season Washington loses Locker and possibly Chris Polk and Jermaine Kearse depending on which rosters you're using.

By year two you could have a WSU level roster with USC expectations. But you have Nick Montana and Deonte Cooper to build around.

Re: Washington or Nebraska?

I just finished season 1 of my Nebraska dynasty, and when I'm done with that after another couple of seasons, I'm starting a Huskies dynasty.

Nebraska is currently 3.5 pt favourites this weekend. I think I'd take Nebraska.

Re: Washington or Nebraska?

UW's my team in real life but wanted to start a dynasty out with a horrible school (Tulane) and work my way up the ranks. In my 2nd year with Tulane UW was ranked #1 in the Nation in week 11 even without Locker. They lost to UCLA and went to the Rose Bowl losing to Wisc.

The 3rd year saw Keith Price winning the Heisman trophy and UW claiming a share of the Pac-10 with Oregon but going to the Rose Bowl. Take UW for the challenge and they do have studs you can work with in a year or two.

I sure hope that's an omen for real life.

P.S.

UW isn't as good as Nebraska but at home will give them a run for their money. If Nebraska makes mistakes, UW can win this game. But, if they play perfect or just well, they'll win. I'll be there cheering on UW either way.
