Ah, I forgot about offside/false start. I see maybe 1 of those a game but I have seen only 1 PI called in about 75+ games this yr.

Re: Foul Discrepancies

The CPU definitely gets more false starts than I do; although I don't ever use fake snaps, the CPU gets them even when they don't do fake snaps, just at random times. They tend to get more holding calls as well, but never an offsides(again, possibly due to the fact I never do fake snaps). I think EA needs to give the whole penalty system in general an overhaul. I have my pass interference sliders at 95 and it still never gets called on me or the CPU, and if I move my holding slider from 50 to 55, I go from around one holding call per game to seven or eight. It all just seems very inconsistent and neglected from year to year to me.

In my online dynasty we have penalties higher than default and are still always the best in the league when it comes to penalties. You can add all four of our totals and be barely over the top teams.

Re: Foul Discrepancies

I only ever see Holding, Clipping, False Starts, and Encroachment. Seen 2 PI calls, and ZERO of the other unless I intentionally blast a QB 2 seconds late if he's competed about 18 passes in a row.

I couldn't agree more. EA definitely needs to overhaul the penalty system. It drives me nuts that you never (or extremely rarely) see pass interference and various other calls even though the sliders are maxed out. I'd be fine even if the pass inteterference calls were just random (a couple a game would be fine w/ me) just to make it more realistic.

It seems that this would be easy for EA to fix, but all their football games are the same ole same ole w/ regard to penalties.

Come on EA!!!
