Goal line Defense

I'm new to this forum so maybe this is already in here.

Is there something I'm missing with this goal line stuff? Played two in a row where I COULD NOT stop it. One dude used Wisconsin and never threw, not once. Had like 437 yards rushing on me, all out of goal line.

Happened again next game, but this guy waited until the second half to do it.

It wasn't even close, it was like I called punt block against a verticals play. It was almost funny, almost.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Even if you just think my d sucks that bad.

Re: Goal line Defense

I run the 4-2-5, so I tried -

Middle blitzes, contains, SS blitzes, FS blitzes, zone blitzes, pinch blitzes. I tried straight up man coverage and controlled the MLB.

I tried 4-4 blitzes.

I tried nickel strong, quarters and dime 3-2-6 blitzes. I also tried goaline sets and even punt block a couple of times.

Re: Goal line Defense

Happened again, last night -

Played Wisconsin, he didn't goal line the WHOLE time, but it was probably 80%. I was Florida - could not stop it.

Any help?

Re: Goal line Defense

First, that's annoying...

My favorite goal line play is RZ Stop...Just for kicks and giggles have you ever tried FG Zone under Special teams? lol

Re: Goal line Defense

I like RZ Stop too. Use it all the time when I'm playing defense on the actual goal line. Is 46 the answer? My D playbook doesn't have that, but I can fix that.

I've never tried FG zone. The problem is if you put everybody on the line, and they all get blocked, it's 6 everytime. I think I'm gonna have to blitz both safeties.

It's so stupid, and I've only seen it since the last patch. Does it have something to do with that?

Re: Goal line Defense

4-4 kills any heavy formation, you just need to know how to set up pre-play
