Any benefit at setting Hit Power to aggressive?

Do your players in coverage try to lay the hit a little harder when the receiver is trying to catch? Or do they just to make the harder hit when tackling the ball carrier?

in my experience it only makes your defensive players miss more tackles.. no benefit at all

lol yeah that's what I'm thinking. Probably should just keep it at conservative at all times.

Kinda like the big run, and both the blocking options. You don't really see much of a positive if you set any of those to aggressive, but you do see tons of fumbles, holds, and especially clipping.

I find the whole gameplan strategy thing to be overdone (and I think it's annoying that I have to set it up every game). Setting aggressive pass D, aggressive strip ball, and aggressive D-line seems to be almost guaranteed INTs, forced fumbles, and sacks with very little downside at all.

As for hit power, I haven't ever really noticed much of a difference on any of the settings to be honest.

the big hits may cause a fumble.....
but they miss so many tackles that it isnt worth it.

What is this "hit power aggressive" you speak of? Just being sarcastic to get to the bottom line. Lots of these features they add aren't needed at all. I've never even came close to touching any of this stuff.

To answer your question, it probably doesn't do anything.
