The Return of Terrible Kickers?!

I had to increase the cpu kick accuracy/kick power sliders to 100. And cpu kickers are still missing what should be easy kicks, but not at the rate they were before. I've seen long FG's made, like from 52 yards, but not very often so I'm happy with the cpu kicking game at the moment, I think it resembles real college football well.

I just beat Boise State because they missed 3 PATs... The score was 21-18. WTF

Played Ohio State for you know what and giggles in my fourth year...

Ohio State's Kicker and Punter were both 48 or so overall, and their kicker missed two extra points.

Kickers, punters, and fullbacks have always been awful to recruit.

I recently had a dynasty where I needed a kicker and was in on the #3 and #4 kickers in the nation. I finished second in the recruiting race to ASU for BOTH kickers.

Also, I have trouble with the CPU routinely kicking 50+ yard field goals like none other.

I lost to Boise in my Dynasty game with Hawaii in season 2. They missed their first to extra points, and I lost 22-20.

This remains one of the game's glaring weaknesses and I cannot understand why it's *still* a problem so long after release.

To defend this in any way, shape, or form is equally ludicrous.

I’ve had better luck with punters. My freshman kickers are usually terrible so I just sub in the punter. This doesn’t do anything for the CPU but at least my kicker can make a 35 yard field goal

Yep, it's too bad. I'm gonna turn the lights out on this game and just play Madden this year for football. I love this game but because of the things people are posting above, its just not worth the investment in time to go deep in this years franchise mode.

Lame EA, No college kickers should be missing 3-4 XP a game.

On to Madden and NBA 2k.
