Well, East Texas was the last team that I created. Originally, I had 9 Gulf Coast teams and had put them in for the Sun Belt, but wanted to make it 12 and replace C-USA (for the championship game), so I added West Florida, Mississippi Gulf Coast, and East Texas.
I was running into a problem of too many repeated colors.
Four teams use some amount red.
Six teams use some amount of some shade of blue (though two, Galv&LGCU, use a very, very light shade)
Three teams use some shade of green.
Two teams use orange.
A lot of the teams use some black, including AGCU which uses it as primary.
Purple simply seemed to be the best unused color available. If you have a better idea for a color, I can try that, but I don't want to use any of the currently used colors really.
The other thing about my teambuilder conference, if you do load them all into a conference, the worst team is UNO at 73 overall, and the best team is Tampa at 83 overall. and most of the teams are between 76 and 80. The conference is packed closely enough together for it to remain competitive (if you choose to use all the teams).
Also, when decided the roster templates to use, I was trying to use a good mix of offensive styles, so you have...
Tampa uses UCF's roster & playbook (Pro-Style)
East Texas uses Houston's roster & playbook (Air Raid)
Texas Gulf Coast uses SMU's roster & playbook (Run & Gun)
Florida Gulf Coast uses Duke's roster & playbook (Multiple)
New Orleans uses Memphis's roster & playbook (One Back)
Alabama Gulf Coast uses Troy's roster & playbook (Air Raid)
The other six teams use some variant of the spread.
Two teams are 1-star, two teams are 3-star prestige, the other 8 teams are all 2-star prestige.
