Players with a high speed ratings?. High acceleration rating?, Combination of the two?

Re: KR/PR Help

I tend to go strictly speed.

If a guy has a high return rating but is only a few points slower I will go with the return rating.

I do not think it makes that much of a difference considering. Most players with a high return rating are probably going to be one of your faster players on that team.

Re: KR/PR Help

I go by their return ratings. I also look at those with higher awareness, as I don't control them on the run backs. I hope that the higher awareness rating will help them find the open holes.

Return rating. Then look at acceleration.

Re: KR/PR Help

Are there any particular formations that you guys use to help with returns, punt returns in particular? It seems like I have the hardest time getting any return yards worth a darn in this game. It seems like as soon as I catch the ball my guy has no blocking and is stopped after what is usually a 2 or 3 yard gain.

Re: KR/PR Help

I had a guy with 99 speed 96 acc and he was phenomenal as a PR/KR. In his senior season, I was able to get 4 PR and 2 KR for TD. For his career he had at least 5 of each. It was always a beautiful thing to watch on replay. As long as the guy is good enough to catch the ball, SPD and ACC is the way to go. Actually probably more so ACC than SPD but a guy with both can be extremely dangerous.
