NCAA Football should use Madden's Animations and Player Models

I respect Pike for posting this on here. Anytime you go onto a game forum and go against a big element of that game you are going to get fans jumping down your throat.

I still play NCAA 11 every day, I love this game, I didn't even PLAY Madden 11, let alone buy it.

That being said, for what its worth, nobody can deny how fabulous the Madden 12 videos look, there are way more of them released and linked on the Madden forum and I have watched every one. The game looks fantastic.

NCAA 12 has less videos out and wasn't showcased at E3 even though it comes out sooner than Madden. I don't really care about that and I definitely like what I am seeing in the vids so far, it looks pretty sweet, but Madden has presentation elements I pray NCAA one day incorporates

Only thing I want from Madden, and I'm going off the demo, is the touch they allow u to put on passes. I could put passes wherever I wanted and with better touch than NCAA. Of course I was Peyton Manning in the game so that makes a HUGE difference but that's about it. I do NOT want my NCAA to play like Madden AT ALL!!!

I agree that Madden's player models are better. Ncaa really needs to work on that next year especially for the DEs and QBs.

My biggest problem with NCAAs player models is that how big they are is not really determined by weight but by that player's position. If you have a 170lb DE he is going to look huge but if he is a DB then he will be tiny.

Anyway I hope that it is a focus point for next year. Its easier for madden because the players models are based on what the actual player looks like.

I do believe that Madden and NCAA should have a general pool of animations but for the most part college players are amateur athletes so they should have a less disciplined way of interacting on the field. Lower rated players should be more raw and higher rated players should have animations you'll see in Madden.

See that's where the ratings should come into play. If the ratings work properly you will see this on the field. If EA just has a "Football" team that works on the general football gameplay (maybe they do, idk) both NCAA and Madden would be able to add their touches to the game to make it feel right. My thought is that football is football and it won't matter whether its college or pro as long as the ratings system works accordingly. Just my thoughts.
