Why did EA skimp on Dynasty/Stat Tracking Online???

Maybe I am the only one, but I was very disappointed in the Online dynasty tracking that EA provided. There is SOOO much more they could have done. Dynasty just seems too focus so much on only the players currently playing for you and doesn’t really keep much history. If we are building tradition and dynasties….let us.

I have used avidmanager.com in the past, but the pain is inputting all the stats. EA needs to use this as a template and import all the stats, so that BOOOM there it is for you. Below are essentially 3 basic webpages that will show most of the information that people like to look at frequently (or would like to show off). Also, from 1 of these 3 pages you can get to ANY information you want. Instead of the setup they have now. All of these below would be widgets (i really dont know exactly what a widget is other that a type of window with abbreviated webpage inside a webpage, that can be added/removed). Also have titles of all of these widgets be links to the stated pages/reports.

Account Page:
This will list all of the EA games that you currently have active online dynasties in. You click the game you want and it will show the active dynasties for that game. Then you click your specific dynasty. They would need to add an option to make 1 dynasty as default so it opens directly to that page (instead of going through all the steps above). Then the fun begins. (On each page I like wiki windows in bold, their description, and what clicking their title takes you to).

Dynasty Page
* Seasons: last 5 seasons showing results (Final ranking, record, bowl game, etc.) of the dynasty linked to their season page (This look similar to Season Overview Page at avid)
- Clicking the title would take you to view ALL Seasons
* Career Top Performers: Top Performers for Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Defensive for that dynasty
- Clicking title would take you to view the similar to avid Dynasty Top Performers Report
* Win/Loss: Shows the Overall Records for Conference, Top 25, # of Different (out of 120) that you have beaten
- Clicking name take you to similar to avid Win/Loss Report
* NCAA Record: Shows the NCAA Records Achieved
- Clicking title take you to NCAA Records Report
* Bowl Games: Shows the Bowl Games & Results with links to games
- Clicking title would take you to Dynasty Bowl Games Report
* Heisman Winners: Shows a list of Heisman Winners
- Clicking title would take you to Dynasty Awards Report
* Championships: Shows which years won conference & national titles
- Clicking title would take you to Championships Report
* Greatness Games: Shows top 5 game results & Greatness Score
- Clicking title would take you to Dynasty Greatness Report
* Team Stats: Shows most total yards, scoring, turnovers in dynasty Name linked to Dynasty Team Stats Report


Season Overview Page
* Schedule: This will have up-to-date schedule
- Clicking title would linked to the Schedule Page
* Polls: Show the CURRENT Polls as of most recent week or Final Polls (if season is over)
- Clicking title would linked to Rankings Page
* Stat Leaders: Shows the Stat leaders for Passing, Rushing, Receiving, Defensive
- Clicking title would take you to Season Individual Stats Page
* Current Game: Shows the Box Score of the current week/final game
- Clicking title would be linked to Game Page
* Top Recruits: Shows the top 10 Recruits & current interest level/commitment
- Clicking title would be linked to Recruiting Page
* Season Posts: Shows the 10 most recent posts
- Clicking title is linked to Posts Page
* Players of the Week: Shows the most recent/final Players of the week for NCAA and Conference
- Clicking title takes you to Players of the Week Page
* National Champion: Shows the national champion (if season is over)
- Clicking title linked to Season Bowl Page
* Award Winners: Shows the awards received that season (if season is over)
- Clicking title linked to Season Awards Page
* Conference Standings: Shows the current/final Conference standings
- Clicking title lined to Conference Standings Page
* Team Stats: Shows most passing, rushing, scoring, turnovers in season
- Clicking title linked to Season Team Stats Report
* NCAA Record: Shows the NCAA Records Achieved that season
- Clicking title lined to NCAA Records Report

Week Page
* Box Score: Shows the box score of that weeks game
- Clicking title linked to Game Page
* Poll: Shows the polls for the week
- Clicking title linked to Poll Page
* Conference Standings: Shows the conference standings
- Clicking title linked to Conference Standings Page
*Team Stats: Shows most passing, rushing, scoring, turnovers in game
- Clicking title linked to Game Team Stats Page
* Top Performers:Shows the top performers in passing, rushing, receiving, defense for your team that week
- Clicking title linked to Game Player Stats
* Recruiting: Shows the top 10 Recruits & interest level/commitment
- Clicking title linked to Recruiting Page
* Weekly Posts: Shows all the Posts created for this week
- Clicking title linked to Posts Page
* Players of the Week: Shows the Players of the week for NCAA and Conference
- Clicking title takes you to Players of the Week Page
* NCAA Record: Shows the NCAA Records Achieved that week
- Clicking title takes you to NCAA Records Report

Game Page
* Box Score: Shows the box score
- Clicking title takes you to Game Scoring Summary Page
*Team Stats: Shows most passing, rushing, scoring, turnovers in game
- Clicking title linked to Game Team Stats Page
* Top Performers:Shows the top performers in passing, rushing, receiving, defense for BOTH TEAMS
- Clicking title linked to Game Player Stats
* Game Posts: Shows all the Posts created for this game
- Clicking title linked to Posts Page
* Players of the Game: Shows the Players of the game
- Clicking title does nothing
* NCAA Record: Shows the NCAA Records Achieved that game
- Clicking title takes you to NCAA Records Report

This obviously would need some fine tuning, and avidmanager .com is about 90% of the way to something like this. But the problem is still importing the stats and information opposed to manually inputting it.


What do you guys think? I don’t think this would be that difficult for them to do, and I think it would add a ton more value to dynasties (comparing your current season with seasons of the past).
