Footwork vs. Defense in recruiting

Hey everybody- I've been lurking around these parts for quite awhile and finally decided to sign up for an account. So for my first post I had this question...

When recruiting O-linemen- how much weight is put into the run/pass block footwork categories vs. the overall run/pass block categories. I've been looking at the overall categories, but came across a 1-star guard who has a B in run and pass block but terrible footwork. I'm just wondering how much the categories affect the actual play or if one set is weighted more... Thanks, Chad

The run/pass block footwork & run/pass block strength means more. Also look at impact blocking. If you are running a system that requires your linemen to pull then look at the acc rating. Good bench and squat numbers will tell you how strong the guy is.
I may be wrong but the pass & run block rating don't mean much since the other ratings were added.
