Display issues

First off this is about NCAA 10 on PS3, but I believe it would go for all NCAA/Madden games...

My problem is that I can't see my outside receivers while playing, so I have no clue if they are open or not, unless I scramble to that side of the field. Of course I can see them pre-snap but that's not very helpful after I snap the ball, and scrambling is not always an option. I'd love to hit guys with curl routes out there but end up tossing it up for grabs because I can't see them.

Now I don't have the most fantastic TV at the moment, but it is a Sanyo-DP32640

Also I'm still using the composite cables for my PS3 but I'm buying my HDMI online, our Walmart wanted $30 for a 6ft cable.

So is there anything I can do to fix this, I've tried changing the aspect ratio to no avail.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas!

Re: Display issues

I had this problem when I played on the aspect of 4:3 on my TV. I use composite as well. I switched it to 16:9 and I can see them. The players will look a bit tall and what not, but still. Luckily, my TV has an 16:9 enhancement for the composite input.

Re: Display issues

I switched to 16:9 the other day and yeah it made the players look weird, but still couldn't see them so I switched back. I'm thinking/hoping my HDMI will help, but no way to know for sure.

Re: Display issues

Hope for the best man. It sucks when you can't tell if someone in the flat is open. I throw out there a lot.

Re: Display issues

Thanks, hopefully others can toss some ideas around. I like throwing over that way instead of over the middle, but it's just so hard to do because of it.
