Yes... and then you get a game with terrible dynasty recruiting, no dynasty progression, running backs who run like marching soldiers, and other issues which were legitimately corrected via patches.

It's a lose/lose for the offline dynasty mode gamer. If you play strictly in Play Now mode, then going back to release build is likely a better experience.

I talked about this issue when I sold the game in September - I deleted all of the patches and played the OOTB version and the blocking was way, way better than is was post-patch. Especially fullbacks and pulling lineman once they get passed the LOS.

Like many sports games, patches fix five things and break three things.
