Does it really matter? Seems like my 70 lt blocks the same as my 90 rt? Should I waste time going after 4 and 5 stars or just go after the 3 stars I know I can get?

Depends on if you play the games or sim. I find higher recruits to have higher Pass and Run Block Ratings the one used for simming games and Pass/Run Block Strength and Footwork sometimes equal to and maybe not as good as lower recruits, those are the ones used for games played.

I think it matters hugely. I spend the past two years rebuilding ucla's run block and have seen marked improvement.

If you want to run the ball having a good offensive line makes a huge difference in my experience.
In the passing game I haven't really seen much of a difference between good ol and average ones though.

Yeah unfortunately I have had 99 OVR tackles that get beaten like a drum.

In the run game it's HUGE. My opponent in my online dynasty league had an 85 speed HB and I figured well we'll be able to control that guy. Nope, he went off because the line was creating huge holes all game and that was like a 95+ OVR across the board offensive line.
