Not even close. NCAA was better this past year, but is still not even in the same league as College Hoops 2k8. I would probably pick MLB 2k as my series if we're only talking sports.

Loved NCAA 11, and I can't wait for NCAA 12, but the MLB: The Show series is king, imo. That's the one I'd take.

agreed, at this point in sports gaming the show is king (though it still needs some animation work to more resemble real player movements). ncca and madden are pathetic excuses for a representation of the game of football.

Wow, this is such a difficult question.

Would love to see the answers now as well as after the release of NCAA, Madden, and NBA 2K this year.

Honestly, this could be a year of transition. If NCAA makes strides like it did last year and NBA 2K rests on the assurance that there isn't a competitor, NCAA could really make a push as the premiere sports game.

If this were a question between football titles (NCAA and Madden), then yes, I would go with NCAA. Dynasty Mode has always been superior to me over Franchise mode. I also like that there's over 100 teams for you to choose to play with; it keeps the game fresh.

BUT, it's not at the top of the charts for me in terms of OVERALL sports titles. NCAA 11 is a great game (still play it) but if forced to choose just one title, I'd go with MLB The Show, followed closely by NBA 2K.

Those two titles bring more to the table than EA's football offerings.

That said, this past year was a good year to be a sports gamer. Lot of quality titles out there for consumption.

If we're talking football series only then yes... NCAA 11 is king. I haven't had this much fun with a football game since Tecmo Super Bowl III.

Not happening. I want them to make a good football game so I will gripe and complain all I can until it gets done. Im tired of them putting out crap because they cornered the market and they can. I want to play a football video game that looks like football, not like some rusty cant hardly move robots moving around.
