This right here - The current state of the game is that you play a game, recruit, advance to the next week - Repeat....
It shouldn't be that way, A decent amount of us (and I won't say majority) are now older guys where throwing the ball down the field 80 yards every play isn't exciting...
What's exciting is winning a big rivalry game, a national championship, a heisman, recruiting battle, etc.. And having some kind of presentation or commentary where you at least think the game cares somewhat about your accomplishment.
As it stands now, you win a big game and you're excited but then when it ends like every other game and the commentary is the same as every other game - It's a bummer, and just sucks the joy out of it.
The before game intros look good, but equally is important is how they handle the mid and end game to keep the excitement throughout the entire game.

Extactly. The intros are great, but whats the point if that excitement is not carried throughout the whole game? EA doesn't have to compete with other companies, they can do whatever they want because they know that we will come out and buy the game. I hate to sound negative, but given EA's track record, we will get this presentation on playstation 10, but we wont have a chain gang because of "coding".
