kicking game improvements?

Yeah at least in Madden 11 the kick and punt return game was good. You actually had a threat from the cpu for returning it back for a TD.

IN NCAA however this wasn't the case, there was no blocking, defenders got down the field way too fast.

Yeah, 09 was too easy. I remember I would let the CPU return kicks for me, as otherwise I would return it 50% of the time. They just have never really struck a balance.

They need to make more decent kicker/punter prospects. And walk-on kickers/punters can be just as good if not better than scholarship players.

You all make good points. Its an area of the game that has seriously been neglected ( what hasn't really lol). Hopefully they have at least attempted to improve it as I really don't see it being much worse (EA please don't make me eat those words!)

haven't seen you post in awhile.....next year if they don't fix the return game in NCAA 12 i'll give you some edits you can make for the CPU. It won't make it perfect but it'll boost up their return game so that the CPU returns a few TD's during the year

I've seen about 3 returns by the CPU in NCAA 11 that went for TD's....the problem is EA doesn't work on the blocking logic of the special teams players

Check this out the CPU return man takes one to the house on me because of his special teams blockers actually blocking someone in the open field
