gameplay photo of double team pass block in IGN video

I was watching the gameplay videos again and noticed this at the 2:27 mark of gameplay video 2 from IGN, it's pretty cool. You also notice through out the videos the left and right tackle punch as they take their 1st slide step.

these pictures are the right guard extending his one arm to help the center and having that split relationship.

start watching from 2:15, it looks kinda like it's intentional

7:31 of this video another double team block. The LG chips and helps the center for a second and then goes back when a lineman goes in to his zone

Thanks for sharing. Is this the first year with double team blocking? I could have sworn they had been in in years past.

Thats not really a double team. Looks like it was just a coincidence that animation payed out so close to those two engaged lineman.

there has been double team blocking on some run plays, but not for pass plays.

I don't know, the Guard is looking right at the center and defensive tackle, like that's intentional. On the other hand, they probably would've touted this a new feature. So I'm not sure what to make of it.

Players look around all the time in this game. If we had double team blocking on pass plays, we would have probably seen it or heard about it from EA. This just looks like a coincidence.

I guess I just assumed it was in the game. It seems like such a mundane thing.

I don't know about mundane, but anything that means fewer O-lineman with their thumbs up their asses, is a plus in my book.
