Re: NCAA 12 "I need a team" topic

From the list of schools, I think you definitely enjoy a challenge, but prefer a school that appears to be near a recruiting hub (Texas, California, Florida, etc.) With many of those schools, it doesn't look like you need to have a particular skill set from your team.

I'd recommend Temple, sweet uniforms and a really challenging conference to escape from. Regional rivalries with some really powerful teams (Penn State & Pitt)

Tulsa would be another team I'd recommend. Solid uniforms with a crazy yellow alternate uniform set. Another team with strong ties kids from Texas and you can build regional rivals from tons of teams (TCU, SMU, Okie State and when you're solid enough... Texas and Oklahoma)

Im looking for a One star team that has a decent passing game. Im thinking maybe Akron, UL Lafayette or San Diego state (If they are still a 1star)

If you are looking for a small school, I'd suggest Arkansas State. They are a good small school to use. I ran a dynasty with them last year and plan on doing another one this year.
If you are looking for a school with lots of tradition but has struggled recently and won't be too easy, then you should consider Tennessee. They are extremely young and have a lot of talent, especially on offense. QB Tyler Bray,WR Justin Hunter, WR Da'Rick Rogers, WR Matt Milton, and 4 of 5 starting OL are either freshmen or sophmores.

Missouri. Great uniform combos (including Pro Combats) to keep it fresh; they run a flashy, effective offense, and the challenge factor is there being in the same conference as Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M

If you're not feeling them, I'd recommend

Arizona
Arizona State
Houston
Washington
Southern Mississippi
North Carolina
Duke
Middle Tennessee
Boston College (I assume you are a Red Sox fan)

As for the SEC, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Mississippi State are the LEAST respected in the conference and are always expected to flop. These are the gimme games.

As an SEC fan myself, I'd wanna add to the conference, maybe bring in USF or UCF and build them up and get them off to a roaring start in the SEC.

I took Vandy because of the staduim,UL because they had the best cheerleaders in the background and San Jose State because of the logo.

Is Georgia Tech still good? They had a ton of flash and trickery last year but there wasn't much in the passing game. I remember playing as them to get the achievement for using all different types of schemes.

Option playbooks (Which is what GT runs) are difficult to run, atleast in the past. I would not suggest them unless they do some major tweaking or are highly skilled with that type of offense.

Tech will struggle early next season b/c of a newish QB. That may well be my first building up place next year, as I love the option game.
