How are you doing on kickoff returns on NCAA '11?

How often do you return one? How many do you get per season, etc.

Me - I seem to average about one per year through my first 8 years. However, in my 9th year, I have a freshman kick returner (98 speed, 83 return rating) that just returned 2 in one game (actually 3 but one was called back for holding). I'm just curious if this is a player I should get excited about or if I merely just sucked at kickoff returns and have simply done something others do pretty easily.

....On another note, I won't discuss my zero punt return touchdowns through 8+ seasons.

Ive had some of both. I just use that HB thats like 5'8", has Spd, Agility, Acc in the 90s and can usually get 3 or 4 in a season.

On another note hopefully they have more random recruits this year because after awhile you see the same ones over and over.

Re: How are you doing on kickoff returns on NCAA '11?

I've always been fairly good at returning whether it be punt of kickoffs, and I always recruit those little 5'8'' speed RBs too . My strategy is to push up before the ball gets there so they catch it on the run and then veer towards the middle to get some blocks and then break outside to the sideline.. I never juke and hardly spin because it just slows you down

You just have to practice at it and have some luck

I would say I avg. about 4-6 a season. But I can only get one after they return one on me, weird lol

Now punts, I get maybe 1 or 2 a season.

Out of 100 or more games.........ZERO.

And I have yet to see the cpu get more then 10 yards on a return. The blocking on kick returns is terrible, especially on punts, the gunners get down the field way too fast.

Re: How are you doing on kickoff returns on NCAA '11?

I rarely put starters on special teams, so my special Teams TDs are kind of low, but I probably average 1 KR TD a year and 1 PR TD every other year.
