I don't know, I've only played it once in the last 3 weeks. I just can't get into the game. It's fun to play, but I think 2003 was better since it was my first since NCAA 2001. But the thing that makes it great is because it's college football, enough said

I couldn't agree more, i just finished playing arkansas against texas, i won 25-24 and more importantly the game was a blast whether i won or lost. Madden 2004 on the other hand i can't even pick up and play right now. After owning ncaa for awhile there is simply no comparison. Of all the video football games i've owned for the ps 2 ncaa 2004 is hands down my favorite. I can't for the life of me understand why madden 2004 couldn't of played like this. I actually prefer madden 2003 over it. Now i got my eye turned towards espn football hoping they can deliver what im looking for. If not i got madden 2003 for another year, nothing wrong with that.

when i got Madden i quit playing NCAA because all the hype around Madden was cool. i really like the franchise and owner modes in Madden. but the gameplay to me sucks compared to NCAA. i mean my last game of Madden i shut the Raiders down in the 1st half allowing only 86 yards. then in the 2nd half they went off for like 300 passing yards alone. no rushing yards at all, none, zip, zilch, notta, none. all passing. this is in the 3rd year of my franchise using the Browns who i've built up to a great team now.

here's why i think NCAA is great.

-better gameplay
-no comeback AI
-realistic scoring if played on the right level
-realistic amounts of pancakes. i was getting like 15-20 on 5 min. quarters in Madden with Ross Verba alone. my last game with UConn in NCAA i had 4 total on 5 min. quarters.
-pretty good franchise if they had something kind of like madden had it would be great and i wouldn't buy Madden then probably.
