They confirmed awhile ago that they would be free. I can't remember exactly when and where this was, but they confirmed it.

I too am debating whether or not to buy it from gamestop. I know that there'll be a free DLC for it, but I haven't read when it'll come out. If it's within 2 weeks, then I'll skip gamestop. If it's 2 months, then I'd probably be better off going with gamestop.
