Commentary has become so stale

The problem is that the series lacks dynamic commentary. By that, I mean that instead of talking about the game, discussing the current season, translating stat overlays, or talking about a specific player, the announcers simply are reduced to cheesy one-liners and stale verbage. Don't get me wrong: Kirk and Brad are great, but honestly EA, you can't convince me that their video game commentary is any reflection of their announcing on "Saturday Night Football".

If you haven't experienced "dynamic commentary", check out NBA 2k or MLB the Show. I love how when playing an NBA dynasty, the announcers will take about the two team's previous matchup against each other and other opponents. The commentary isn't perfect, but very promising. Unfortunately, I can not name any examples of dynamic commentary in other EA Sports titles, so the possibilities of adding this feature are somewhat dim at the moment. However, with an added focus placed on tv style presentation these past two years, there lays hope that EA will fix the commentary.

Yeah, the commentary is definitely lacking. I usually turn the crowd noise to max and lower the commentary to make it sound like they're trying to shout over the crowd.

Glad someone made a thread on this. This is by far the worst part of the game. The commentary needs a huge lift and hopefully it comes in NCAA 13

While we are kind of on the topic, does anyone know why Lee Corso was taken out of the games? I never heard anything about it and was so bummed out when I first played NCAA 11.

Agree 100% with you here. I don`t have a lot of complaints about this game, I love this series. However the commentary has been stale for years now. To me it`s some of the worst commentary in sports games. I really really hope they improve commentary next year.
