One small, existing, change that could make commentary 100% better

This is a very good idea. But, like someone said, it should be utilized more in sideline reports and video packages. Not to say they couldn't say more names in mid-game, but it would fit better elsewhere.

It's a matter of trying to replicate something that is inherently improvised and presenting it in a way that feels improvised, except that it has the limitation of time, space, and writing. There's only so much time for these guys to record, and you spend much more time playing the game than they spend calling them (16 games at 3 hours each is only 48 hours, or roughly 50 games of NCAA). Even the best commentaries (NFL 2K, MLB the Show) reuse the same lines very quickly. It's probably not going to be fixed anytime soon, even if they say more names.

^^^ It's moreso just switching up and make MORE use of what you already have.

Adding more commentary is not the answer in terms of what I'm saying.
