Question about transferring athletes

I play most of my NCAA dynasties offline. I use mainly FSU and Notre Dame. I have had players transfer out of my program, but I have never had a player transfer to my program. I was wondering if its just a fluke or is anyone else having a similar issue? 95% done on the demo

I haven't really looked into it but have noticed that it seems a little pre-determined. I remember two years ago one of my 3 rb's would always transfer to arizona. Usually whichever one got the least amount of carries. I could play year 1 over and everytime one would want to transfer. Last year I had one of my cb's always want to transfer to Colorado St. These were only year one but led me to believe they were predetermined. I could talk them out of it at times.

I also think the less prestige your team has the better chances of getting an incoming transfer. Probably has to do with depth chart competition.

I thought i remembered someone saying that if you have a full roster than no one would transfer to you but if your roster had open spots then people would transfer to you.

Its because you're playing with a big time program, players hardly ever transfer to big schools. If you were someone like Florida International, San Diego St, or Akron you'd probably get more transfers. This is because the players are trying to go somewhere where they'll start.

Ive had transfers to my school when playing with Bama before. As someone mentioned, if your roster is full you wont have any transferrs.
