Re: Quarter Length

In NCAA 11 I ran with 8 min qtrs and tough sliders. Got really solid stats. The sliders have to be tough, there ahve to be punts, or else you will literally just go for 800 yards every game

I started out with 8 min but found I could kill an entire quarter with one drive. 10 min seemed to play a much more realistic game. It almost seemed as if the CPU plays a much better game plan with longer quarters. After switching over the minutes, the scores seemed to get much tighter.

Re: Quarter Length

Idk i got acustomed to 6min while playing in an OD so thats what i like, but me and a buddy of mine made up our own variation of RTG by creating 2 defensive players that play at the same school in dynasty and play co-op, we only play when our guys are on the field and sim the offense.. lol we use 7min qtr for that and it works well because many games go down to the wire

10 min Quarters. I get realistic # of touches and stats. I can get a game in, in about a hour.

There's aggressive, which has no acceleration, normal, which accelerates 10 seconds (maybe), and chew clock, which is roughly the same as it was in '10. The CPU will almost always play on normal.

Re: Quarter Length

I really don't know how any of you cats play on 8 minutes or higher setting, I get scores already somewhat high, at times, on just 7 minute quarters. Scores of 56-49, 49-52, 42-38 are all common scores. If we played our OD on any higher settings our scores would be ridiculous....
