In Dynasty Mode Will You Start As A DC or OC

I'm a bit of a pickle myself with the decision.

On one hand, I consider myself a great defensive/special teams player (I am a Hokie fan after all lol) but I'm always making my biggest players on that end of the ball. My problem is I don't think I would want to play defense all the time until I became a HC.

On the other hand, I enjoy playing offense more in general. Much more fun to bust off runs and make plays passing. At the same time, I don't necessarily trust the CPU defense to hold on to games that should have been won had I played defense. I wouldn't feel same with defense until I was the HC.

Ill probably do both but the one i will do first will probably be DC.

As long as your offense doesnt do anything stupid, you can win a game 2-0 on defense, but what are the odds that happens

I hope u know how to score every possession because i have a feeling the cpu defense will play just like it did in RTG. All my games ended with 40+ scores and that was on Heisman

I'm gonna go defensive cooridinator. I know it can get so irritating to not be able to play offense all the way till you're a head coach, but I feel like big plays on defense are so much more rewarding. Also, defense wins championships, so might as well get a good amount of experience with it before coaching you're own school.

Im still stuck, depends on the Ai, if your offense can move the ball, ill start on defense. However if the offense cant move the ball ill start out at OC and move to HC, ill skip over DC

im sure this has been answered many times but haven't heard anything yet.. but was wondering when you play as a coach do you actually play the games or just call the plays and the CPU plays the game..?

U will do both. Even as only an OC/DC must recruit players to fill positions. Its only as a HC though that u can be fired by failing to meet expectations. IE if u were Alabama HC and u didnt have a top 5 recruiting class each season u would probably lose security, but as an OC/DC recruiting has no penalties
