Worth it if you already have '03?

I picked up 2004 for XBOX. I am pretty happy with the purchase, but there are a few drawbacks:

1. Gameplay is a bit different, especially with interceptions. If you had 2003 Sliders playing to your liking, you will have to invest some time to find appropriate 2004 settings.

2. I haven't had the dreaded DDE errors, but I do get the stutter on some of the band music. Not a huge thing, but since atmosphere is one of the things that makes this game great, it does hurt a little bit.

SI covers are neat. I like them, but I am not as overwhelmed as some folks are.

Tough call.

Well even if the SI covers aren't your thing, all the new little on field annimations should get your goat.

I suppose it really comes down to how much you like college football and NCAA 2003. If you are fanantical like Ochoco, myself and many others here at OS, you will appreciate all the little new touches, and it will be worth your $50. If on the other hand, you are just a casual fan who periodically plays the EA college series, you probably won't find a great difference between 2003 and 2004.

'04 actually plays a lot different than '03. I love the new
on the field animations and the atmosphere is better (still
not where it needs to be, but better).

Anyways, yes. I think it is worth it.

Hell I think its worth it just for the new year roster myself, but hey, thats just me!
