You can argue whether or not that should be included in the rankings, but it is what it is.

He has Cliff Harris rated as the 4th best corner in the entire country behind:

1. Alfonzo Dennard, Nebraska
2. Stephon Gilmore, South Carolina
3. Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama

Best FS
1. Robert Lester, Alabama
2. Kenny Tate, Maryland
3. T.J. McDonald, USC

Best SS
1. Mark Barron, Alabama
2. Delano Howell, Stanford
3. Ray Ray Armstrong, Miami

*All included in the individual player rankings must be draft eligible.

Not saying this is scripture. Just this guy's opinion. If you're in the top 5 you're probably pretty good.

Steele says this about Alabama's secondary, "This is the biggest blurb on any of these individual units pages because this position has the biggest gap between #1 and #2."

So apparently he thinks Alabama's secondary is head and shoulders better than any in the country.
Phil Steele list of positional players isn't a ranking it has to do with the NFL draft. He even states in the mag that it is not a ranking of the players at each position. Although I would have to agree about Dennard being number 1. Total homer pick but I like it.

Alabama's will be stout obviously, but you're probably not into that playing with the Tide just by the looks of your avatar.

Solid list, Baylor, but I'm unsure about FSU and VT's QB situation. Oklahoma will be beast on this game if their secondary is that good.
Probably Patton Creek

Unfortunately OSU isn't up there this year

Though I do like some of our young talent, CB U is a bit weak this year.

That and he was probably the worst player on the defense last year.

No he wasn't bro. He made two mistakes that cost us one game. Thats a little much to say he was the worst.

IDK about you, but I'd take the Sugar Bowl over the Cotton Bowl anyday.

How is there no question? I think Bama is better in real life and in the game.
If you watched a single LSU game last year, you'd know it's near impossible to count all the freshman/first year players who had major roles in the defense. Mathieu (Who I think has a chance to be BETTER than Patrick Peterson), Reid, Loston, Claiborne, Ryan Baker, etc. It goes on.
