Would you rather have a lot of coaches at A's and B's, or would you rather spread out the ratings so an average coach is a C? Will you rate coordinators high, or keep them at pace with the Head coaches and therefor have them rated lower? What do yuo think will make the game the funnest?

I think the assistants should be rated lower, considering it doesnt seem they are rerated when getting a HC job

There's got to be some way to systematically go about this. I don't remember if it's been discussed lately. Depending on how the coach rosters work (I know they can be packaged with players, but can they be separate?), I may do some classic coach rosters to go with my historical setups. Need a way to calculate prestige from back in the day, but make it comparable.

For me an A is elite ex. Joe Pa, Saban For B = good but not great kind of like Kelly or Dantonio C= Average D= Below average Low D = avg assistant high c top assistant

Best way would be to figure out some kind of system for head coaches based on wins, loses, bowls, and rivals over the last several years. I think for assistant coaches it is probably best to look at the performance of the unit. Most guys should fall in the C category which is average, maybe 50%. 20% are D's, 20% B's and 10% A's

Maybe for the assistance coaches a B or B- is the best.

I will spread out the ratings. I've already set up a way to rank each coach and have ratings for all 360 coaches in the game. There are very few A rated coaches and it is ery spread out. The highest OC/DC is a B.
