Why does the crowd seem so "distant?"

After playing the demo, I came away disappointed in the volume of the crowd noise. They were really quiet in the beginning of the game, and even at points where there was cheering, it just seemed like it was far away, and not near the volume that you would expect. And this is on a pretty damn good 5.1 Polk surround sound system. I think I'll be cranking the crowd noise setting in the retail game, that's for sure. I'm just surprised at how tame it is by default.

Demo. Compressed files so the download doesn't take forever. It's been confirmed they're louder in retail.

LOL I waited 4 hours for that demo to download off PSN. For someone like me who couldn't wait to bust out my Ducks, it seemed like forever.

Are the graphics improved in the retail version of the game as well?

What are you serious? Do you have a link to that? BC I noticed the same thing that the crowed noise seemed very weak.

Every year in the game I always turn up crowd noise and slightly turn down the commentators. Then I turn up my stereo nice and loud.

I can't say for sure, but I've seen multiple people on this forum claim the retail PS3 version of the game is better graphically than the demo.
