This has to be fixed, I wouldn't say that about any other issue right now. This is #1 for me.

Sounds like this is something that needs addressing, but the above solution is what I've been doing and solves the problem (except for CPU v CPU games)

I don't think you understood him. I think what he meant was to take the game to AA, where the CPU won't have its kickers attempt the long fgs, and then tweak the sliders so he can still have a competitive and/or realistic game, if he's concerned that default AA isn't challenging or realistic enough. I'm not saying he's right and that it'll work, I just think that is what he meant.

If you are actually playing the game, AA with sliders.

Instead of instantly shutting down the idea, actually try some things. You might find that something else works.
You want me to switch from Heisman to AA because the game has a serious glitch in it? Really? And this does not only happen in coach mode. It happens in every mode. It's been like this for years.

Bottom line, this needs to be fixed.

This is one problem NBA 2k11 addresses that NCAA has failed to yet. And that is tendencies. How often does a team "tend" to kick that long field goal, or go for it on 4th down. Things like that. Those things would be a good add/ and or patch for NCAA 12 or 13.
