This is the way I'm gonna play most of my games this year. To me it feels like I'm right there in the stadium. The PA Announcer is good enough for me. I will cut the commentary on for bowl games but that's it. Anybody else play like that?

I did this last year. Surprised that more people don't do this. Just turn off commentary and turn up stadium sounds. Way, way better.
Herbie and Ness are a mess. They add nothing to the experience. And, frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves for years of lackluster commentary.

I'm to the point where I find the commentary so stale it's not even appropriate as background noise anymore. Yes, I turn it off too.

But it doesn't effect gameplay, so we probably shouldn't be talking about it.

I've played with it off for several years now, I don't think that they could ever make it good enough for me to turn it back on.

does turning commentary off, turn off the gametrack portion because i kinda like that. if not, i'm in.
