Dynasty - Who, What, Why and How

I was just sitting in the office and was wondering how you fellow players started off your dynasties. So WHO did you start with, WHAT role did you take, WHY you chose it, and HOW did your first season game turn out???

I guess I'll start:

Who: New Mexico Lobos
What: Off Coordinator
Why: They had the lowest rated offense and I wanted the challenge of building them up
How: Lost to Colorado State (27-3)

Who: Maryland Terrapins
What: Off Coordinator
Why: I'm a Maryland fan, and wanted to improve their offensive side of the ball.
How: Haven't finished first season yet. Currently 3-1.

Who: Cincinnati Bearcats
What: Head Coach
Why: Big Cincinnati fan, very good offense and very mediocre defense
How: I was inserting some player names when the girlfriend came home so I haven't even played a game yet. How depressing is that?

LMAO, you know a lot of us on here can feel your pain. I tried to hurry and get my first week of recruiting done before my chick came over. That's as far as I made it too. Had to wait til this morning to play before I headed to work.

Well I'll be doing an online dynasty with 11 people when I do start, but I won't until the named rosters come out. But here's mine.

Who: Arizona State Sun Devils
What: Off Coordinator
Why: I went to Arizona for the BCS Championship game this year and LOVED it out there. Fell in love with ASU's stadium and the atmosphere out there. I actually want to move there when I get older. But I plan on staying with ASU for a while then moving on to my dream school of Auburn.
How: TBD

Who: Nebraska
What: Head Coach
Why: Huskers are my favorite team
How: Customized my schedule and played first game on the road at Notre Dame. AA difficulty and default sliders. Lost a close game, 13-6. I actually had a chance to tie the game in the final minute but threw an INT.

Starting tweaking sliders a little and played a second game. I was on the road again at SJ? (San Jose maybe? their mascot is a bulldog). Lost this game 16-10. Back to tweaking sliders tonight to get more realistic stats.

That is hilarious. I started setting the bar with my gf about 3 weeks ago. So given the fact that I talked the game up, showed her all of the videos off of the EA Sports website, she knows my love for college football (I played), I'd say I have about a two week window where I can play while she is home. After that,money while she is out haha.
