Not so fast. When you re-create your RTG player for the purpose of giving him a more realistic throw power, you lose your experience points your earned in HS per the dev team...

Your recruiting board shows which schools you've picked and how far you are to earning a scholarship for each one. You can walk on to any school, but if you have a scholarship, you'll be able to transfer your recruiting points into XP for college

In other words, when you re-create the player you built in RTG, you are essentially walking on to campus, not getting your scholarship. This can be a major setback if you're trying to continuously upgrade your player.

My RTG QB also came in with low throw power. But these things can be improved on. Just focus on spending skill points that make your THP increase

It's not really a major setback. You could just buy a package when you get recruited and THEN write down your stats. That way you would lose more than a few points. If it really matters to you, you could set the difficulty on freshman (the easy one) and dominate your first practice to regain those lost points.

However, from what I'm gathering in the RTG impression thread, it isn't hard to make your guy a 99 overall player anyways (by sophomore year according to one user).

I hear all these work arounds... but.... It shouldnt be like that at all.. and a fix in a patch would be nice.
