So I was gone the entire week (pre0ordered NCAA via EA), and I get home yesterday, and it's there. I'm really excited and just want to play it. Pop it in...

Red Rings.

I decided to not really try anything I see on youtube and i'm just going to get an arcade ($80-130) and put my hard drive in it. Has this happened to anyone else in recent years? For any game?

Have you heard of the towel trick? I YouTube it and heard from my friends and seems to work, you basically wrap your 360 with a towel and leave it on for maybe an hour more or less.
I did that and it went away but it came back like 2-3wks later and I shipped it off to get it fixed.
