RTG Release

So I am just starting my RTG QB and I was looking at the skill upgrades and alot of them increase these

Overall
Throw Power
Accuracy
Release
Awareness

Now.. The only release I know of is the WR kind.. unless they now have an attribute for the QBs release?

Re: RTG Release

Release has been an option for players at every position for the past at least 3 years, where have you been?

Re: RTG Release

Right.. I am aware of the release rating for WR and LBs... what I am asking is why, if any reason, as a QB, they allow the release rating to be increased along with QB skills. Is there some reason? Just an oversight?

I asked this same question days ago but no one replied. Before I thought release was for recievers only. That is why I was wondering if it could have anything to do with QBs quick release or something, because I noticed QBs have decent release ratings now.

Re: RTG Release

I was searching on here trying to find information on this also but I dont see anything anywhere but this thread. Anyone ever figure this out? Is the Release rating for QB's how fast they release the ball when they pass or was this put in there by mistake or for when your QB plays WR on wildcats or something :P

Re: RTG Release

I was confused about it as well. I figured that if that if its grouped with other QB attributes then the only logical thing would be that it would be how quick the QB's release is.

Re: RTG Release

Test it for yourself. It isn't that hard. Jack someone's release down to 40 and crank it up to 100 and look for differences in throwing.
