Patch or Tuner Update?

half of millions issues are solved in testing every year. think about all the obvious things that were fixed. some were missed. mostly because one fix breaks something that was already tested. Some thing that was already tested and reported as working. after every fix in the 500,000 they cant go back and test everyting agian. Its just how it is with a one year cycle. These guys arent stupid and neither are the hundreds that test at ea baton rouge test center. its just the nature of the beast.

In addition we'll never know whqt bugs were found before release. For all we know the CC could have been bugged so coaches never progressed, or teams just rehired everyone no matter what they did on their contract. Plus I'm sure they're dealing with millions of line of code.

Its also not like any other yearly sports game doesn't have bugs that need patching

I know it's about the money, but can't they just make a new game every two or three years? And just have like downloadable rosters for each new year. I mean geez, then they could have a bunch of features without much glitches and bugs and they could actually release patches.

I mean, I played NCAA 09 for three years.

It's probably in the contract with NCAA that EA have to release a game every year. I know the NFL is like that with Madden.

Does anyone know anything about an upcoming patch - most importantly, an ETA? EA has been pretty quiet on this front, which is really disappointing.
