There was the same issue last season.

Not surprisingly EA didn't fix it.

But at least we have dreads................

along with the blitzing does it seem that the defense sheds their blocks almost as soon as they are engaged by the o line?

Yeah thats the classic EA line interaction nonsense. I can deal with that with some sliders, however having the cpu blitz 75% of the time and run screen passes and draws is ridiculous. I mean who gave them those ideas as a gameplan? At least i know this wont be a problem in madden because of the gameplan feature...

It certainly is rather troublesome how often they bring the house only to leave half my receivers wide open. But coming off a 34-17 loss, I'm not exactly complaining when it happens.

Yeah but once you train your eye its pretty much impossible to not hit your slot recievers for easy TDs

Very much this. Especially the Engage 8 comment. I don't think I have ever seen any coach blitz 8 guys and drop 3 into DEEP zones, that play shouldn't even be in the game IMHO, or at least change it so that the secondary plays man coverage.

SMH.......

You can work around this pretty well.

What I did was create a custom playbook for each defensive book to take out any blitz you don't want the CPU run. I personally took out secondary blitzes and blitzes that left the middle too open.

After you get that done, when you are at the team selection screen (you'll need two controllers), take control of the cpu team with one controller and upload that the playbook of choice. Then when you are in the game switch the controller back to the middle.

Yeah that's what I did, makes a big difference.
