Graded B/B- in recruiting

In my first season as Tennessee, I had some recruits come visit for the LSU game. It was a close, exciting, game, and I set all of their activities to things that they had A+ interest in. However, following the game I received B/B- grades from those players.

I don't understand why I had so many low grades. Literally every single player that I invited graded me this way, regardless of position or activities scheduled.

Did I do something wrong? Is there a new formula to the grading that I don't know about? In previous installments, a player usually gave me A+ if I won the game and suited their interests.

I think if you lose even in a tight game you get a B grade. It sucks cause in real life most recruits have a blast win or lose.

Yeah EA overstates losing. But it is a bad impression to lose.

Re: Graded B/B- in recruiting

Playing with Bama, I had a close game with Ark who was highly ranked though not a rival. I scored in the last minute to win and got A- grade from recruits. A few weeks later I played an unranked, non rival Vandy. I blew them out and got A and A+ grades from recruits. I guess blowouts over weak opponents are a bigger deal than close game with a good opponent.

Re: Graded B/B- in recruiting

if you lose the you wont get a high grade.
real recruits dont want to get invited to a game and see the team recruiting them lose

Re: Graded B/B- in recruiting

while I agree with the above stated, I still don't think that a loss effects a visit that much in real life. It might throw a kid or two off, but most kids are more interested in the events they partake in during the visit than the actual game itself.
